On Monday September 12, 2005 our plans for the Terry Fox Run were unveiled in the gym. Mr. Jones showed a couple of short videos about Terry Fox and got the students excited about taking part in the National School Run Day on Sept 16. Over 3 million Canadian schoolchildren will take part in this event, making it the largest event ever in Canadian history. At 10 AM on Friday we will all be outside the school and begin a walk to remember Terry Fox and continue his run for a cure for cancer.

Students were asked to bring donations, especially toonies, to school to help this great cause. They can ring the Bell for Terry when they do.
