Mrs. Karen Corbiell has been at Brentwood since 1998 when she taught Kindergarten. Previous to that she was teaching on a Hutterite Colony for 4 years. She has also taught Grade 2 at Brentwood and has been sharing 4A with Mrs. Anderson for 6 years. Mrs. Corbiell loves teaching her students and helping them to become the best person they can be. She has taught French to the Grade 4's for the last 2 years and loves the challenge of learning a second language. Although definitely not a morning person, Mrs. Corbiell loves teaching in the mornings best. Everyone is fresh and ready to learn something new!

Mrs. Corbiell and her husband Allan, have 4 children and one dog.  Bailey is in Grade 9, Braden in Grade 6, Brandon in Grade 5 and Breanne is only 3 so she spends her time playing at home. Diesel is a miniature longhaired dachshund that thinks he's a big dog, but he's not! Mrs. Corbiell knows that she is very lucky to have her kids go to the same school that she teaches at and you can often see her peeking in on their classrooms!

In her spare time Mrs. Corbiell helps her kids with all their sports and other activities, she also enjoys scrapbooking, photography and spending time on the computer.  Travel and camping are also an  important part of their family time.
