Mrs. Last has been teaching for 29 years,  28 years in Kindergarten and 1 year in grade one.  She has two children of her own,  a son Kelsey who has graduated from High School and is away from home working and a daughter, Rheyanna who is in High School.  She also has two dogs at her house,   Belle and Princess. 

Mrs. Last enjoys reading, which is also her favorite subject to teach.  She especially likes reading picture books to the children and some of her favorite authors are Eric Carle who wrote The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Paulette Bourgeois who wrote the Franklin books.    She also has fun getting to know all the children and the volunteers in Kindergarten.   The best part about Mrs. Last’s job is finding and singing great learning songs with the students.

Mrs. Last enjoys exercising and going for walks with Mrs. Sander and her two dogs.   She also enjoys traveling and learning about new places.  She recently discovered that the desert is a very fascinating place.
