Mrs. Smolanski, who teaches grade three, has a husband named Joe. She also has two kids, Jennifer and Steve and a dog named Sammi.

She has taught grades three to six and a four month job at the High School teaching Biology.

When Mrs. Smolanski isn't at school she likes cooking, sewing, knitting and reading books. Her favourite hobby is gardening and her favourite subject to teach is math.

The thing she likes most about teaching is when the kids understand something. Mrs. Smolanski has been teaching for twenty-five years and fourteen of them have been at Brentwood School. She went to University for four years before being able to teach. Mrs. Smolanski has wanted to be a teacher ever since grade twelve.

Her favourite time of school is in the mornings because she teaches math at that time.
